Ah, Florida. Our first visit in 2014 was but a tease, so travel plans for this year included a return visit and exploration of new locales. This year’s itinerary included Coral Gables, South Beach and the magnificent Florida Keys. Beginning with a stop at Coral Gables’ Hyatt Regency was just what the doctor ordered, and all the more so because of the staff.
Coral Gables is what’s known as a planned community, with primarily Mediterranean Revival architecture. This community is quiet and understated in comparison with South Beach, the second stop on this winter’s travels, but there’s a time for everything.
