That’s right. We’re talking about goal setting and performance, even though we’re 84 days (is that all?!) away from New Year’s.
… and, while some may be tempted to groan or roll your eyes to be considering goals when we’ve just made it through September, doesn’t it make sense? After all, if you’re among the many who establish New Year’s resolutions, those are goals by another name, and it’s helpful to pause and check progress … particularly before considering establishing new goals. Even if you resolved late last December to not make any foolhardy resolutions for 2015, is it possible that you have some aspirations you’ve been keeping in mind?
As we stretch toward the end of another week at the office, will you please join others in this weekend’s poll?
This is an opportunity to express your perspective, and share with readers around the globe. This weekend’s question:
How do you approach goal setting and measurement of progress toward goals?
Please take a minute to complete the poll below, and you’ll also see an opportunity at the top of this post to leave a comment. I look forward to hearing what you have to say, and will publish the results on Monday.
