This week, I’ve been writing about public speaking and acknowledging that many are highly uncomfortable with taking the floor. Is presenting this view, however, an inappropriate perpetuation of an assumption that may not reflect the majority of admin. professionals? We all know and admire counterparts who can readily step up to the podium, and are comfortable and effective speaking in front of a crowd.
