A few weeks ago, we were preparing to pack our bags for New York City.
While this wasn’t our first trip to the Big Apple, I reached out to readers for suggestions on how you might spend a week there. As always, you were generous with ideas, and I’ve already shared more than a few photos on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and Twitter.
In fact, we had such a great time on this visit that we’re returning to NYC in just a few weeks.
In planning our summer visit, we made a conscious decision to stay in hotels in a couple of different areas of Manhattan. One thing we knew for certain: we wanted to return to the InterContinental Barclay New York.
Why? Take a look at my story and photos, and you’ll see. Along the way, we look back at the era of Railroad Hotels, and the Barclay’s ties to the incredible Grand Central Terminal.
