A thought for your day, featuring photography from my travels. This shot: after working all day, late yesterday afternoon I carved out time to enjoy sunset over the Hudson River from a rooftop lounge before making my way to Bryant Park and the bumper cars on ice. I’d tried without success to reserve tickets from home a week ago but, fortunately, a limited number of reserve tickets are kept available for sale each day. That’s the Empire State Building in the background, lit in green, black and red in honour of Martin Luther King Day.
