A thought for your day, featuring photography from my travels. This shot: Walking through Stockholm’s Gamia Stan/Old Town with a friend earlier this month, we stopped for something cool at Pharmarium restaurant. As it sounds, this is a former pharmacy, and it’s situated in the city’s famed Stortorget Square, which dates back to the 1400s. Our timing was good, as there was a sudden downpour that ended not long after our drinks!

A thought for your day, featuring photography from my travels. This shot: Look at the baby swans, known as cygnets, being given a ride by their mother through the lake at London’s St. James’s Park. One was perched a tad precariously, yet these two and the other half dozen or so trailing along did just fine!

A thought for your day, featuring photography from my travels. This shot: a courtyard inside Oxford University’s Lincoln College. Walking through the city last week, I popped my head inside various courtyards. On seeing this gorgeous sight through a window, I popped through a couple more doorways until I was smack in the middle of the courtyard framed by this wonderful sight.

A thought for your day, featuring photography from my travels. This shot: a wonderfully fragrant rose, in Oxford’s botanical garden last week. While there’s a well deserved admission fee to enter the garden, anyone can enjoy the multitude of roses planted outside the garden entrance.
