A thought for your day, featuring photography from my travels. This shot: I arrived home very early this morning, after spending time yesterday catching part of the New York City Marathon and finishing up the trip with a bit of shopping. Here, a look at the Empire State Building from my hotel window … I was on the inside, and stretched my arm out the narrow opening ever so carefully – being careful to avoid bumping the window and dropping my phone – each time I captured the tower lit up in different colours over the course of a few days.
