When you visit New Orleans, you have plenty of opportunities for fun!

One thing I quickly learned was I was mispronouncing the city’s name. If you’re heading there, you’ll want to practice pronouncing “New Or-lins”.

While there’ll be variations given the time of year you’re planning to visit, you can anticipate heat and humidity.

Whether you’re strolling through the French Quarter, enjoying the beautiful homes of the Garden District or anywhere in between, bring a hat and sunscreen.

Here are some snaps from my first visit to New Orleans, which definitely won’t be my last!

As time permits, I’ll add more photos and insights via drop-down menus; for now, you may want to have a look at my stay at Hotel Monteleone.
