A thought for your day, featuring photography from my travels. This shot: Ah, timing. I was in NYC again in late October and early November. That’s when I caught this leaf drifting downward, with the backdrop of Central Park’s Bow Bridge and gorgeous fall foliage.

This shot: In New York late last month and early this month, I returned to one of my favourite spots, Central Park’s Conservatory Garden. Lavish beds of these flowers encircled the courtyard that houses the Three Dancing Maidens sculpture (part of the reason I love this garden so much) that forms the Untermeyer Fountain.
