Motivation
A thought for your day, featuring photography from my travels. This shot: While travelling in Scotland’s Outer Hebrides, a remote area, this spring, I drove to Timsgearraidh – or, as we would say in English, Timsgarry. I was told about RAF Aird Uig, a nearby World War II air base. Some of the former barracks are now eclectic housing, and that’s where where I came chickens and sheep, including twin lambs.

A thought for your day, featuring photography from my travels. This shot: Valencia, Spain’s Mercat Central/Mercado Central. Located across from Llotja de la Seda /the Silk Exchange, the market’s architecture and selections are spectacular. This is said to be the largest market in Europe.

Harlow Carr is a wonderful Royal Horticultural Society (HRS) botanical garden in Harrogate, Yorkshire. A friend took me to Harlow Carr for a first visit this spring, and I look forward to a return visit.
