A thought for your day, featuring photography from my travels. This shot: the view from our patio last night – snow! Growing up in Vancouver, it was a rarity to see a single snowfall at Christmas time. In the last three or four years, we’ve had hotter summers and some (not a lot) actual snow in the city. This was our second snowfall this autumn.

I was perfectly content to soak up some of the spray from the Pacific while walking in Vancouver’s West End. These images are unedited, natch; these shades of blue were nature in all its splendour.

This shot: After speaking for IMA, International Management Assistants, in Gothenburg, Sweden this spring, I caught a ferry ride to the centre of town and began exploring. I always like venturing inside train stations, and that’s where I can across the Metropolitan. I didn’t eat there, but liked the colours and aspects of the design.
