I'd been admiring beautiful roadside fields of yellow (and, in some spots, purple) wildflowers and took advantage of a pull out leading to a rest stop to photograph the flowers and local mountains. I didn't make it to the rest stop, because I found my field enroute. After snapping a few angles, I hopped back in the car and was about to drive away when I heard the sound of this train.
