This weekend, we’re talking about the best possible kind of travel planning … your own!

Those who follow me here and on my travel website know that exploring new-to-me places and revisiting favourite haunts rate high on my list. In the past 12 years, I’ve begun to make serious inroads on longstanding travel aspirations – with more yet to be fulfilled!
I kicked off my own 2017 travels with a first-time visit to Cuba, which had long been on my wish list. With Canada celebrating its 150th anniversary of confederation this year, we plan to make our way to various Canadian locales, including the east coast. This is a bit more of an undertaking than some might suspect, but that’s to be expected of a country that’s home to six distinct time zones. In fact, if you were to drive from Victoria, BC to St. John’s, Newfoundland, you’d be embarking on a journey of 4,464 km / 2,773 miles.
All this, of course, leads me to ask, for the second consecutive year …
Will you travel and explore the globe this year?
Please take a couple of minutes to complete the poll below. As always, I look forward to hearing what you have to say and will publish the results on Tuesday.
