Weekend Poll: Performance Management and Evaluations

If you’re like many assistants, you likely set high standards for yourself and regularly assess your performance – whether on completion of a specific project, following a presentation or meeting, or on the heels of a particularly challenging encounter.

What about your employer, though? Are there protocols for performance management, goal setting and evaluations, or do you rely primarily on informal feedback?

Do you need to psych yourself up for the meetings at which results are delivered, or is this part of a routine process in which you’re unlikely to hear any surprises? This leads us to my second annual Weekend Poll on the topic:

Are regular performance reviews and feedback part of your professional life?

Please take a couple of minutes to complete the poll below. As always, I look forward to hearing what you have to say and will publish (year over year) results on Tuesday.

“Select” whichever responses apply, and remember to CLICK on the “VOTE” ICON AFTER EACH QUESTION.
