What are you doing for your career this Fall?

Great assistants stay on top of their game by investing on a regular basis in their professional development, and in their networks.

This Fall, from September 30th to October 3rd, I’ll be among the speakers presenting at the 26th Annual Administrative Professionals Conference in Kissimmee, Florida. The American Society of Administrative Professionals (ASAP) produces this conference, and ASAP members save $200 on their conference registration fees.

Who attends this conference?

People like you … and people I’ve interviewed for my Real Careers series, including  Stephanie BergsiekerMegan Bishop, Sarah DuncanRenée NeversonJacqueline McCumber and Aimee Reese (click on any of their names to read their interviews). These assistants are among the members of ASAP’s two advisory councils: the APC Advisory Council and the EA Summit Advisory Council.

What kind of PD can you expect?

For starters, I’ll be giving three presentations on two topics. If you’ve ever contemplated transferring your EA skills to working with a board of directors, be sure to attend one of my two presentations on Board Management and Relations: Delivering to a Diverse Group of High Achievers.

If you care about your own digital security as well as your employer’s success, you’ll want to also attend my presentation on Cybersecurity: How to Ensure You’re An Asset and Not a Digital Liability to the Executive Team.
