Multiple professional development opportunities
2019 is a busy year for conference presentations. Hot on the heels of five presentations in England and Scotland for EPAA, and another for London’s Network PA SW1, I’ve just returned from speaking at IAAP’s Summit 2019 in National Harbor, Maryland.
Come September, I’ll be winging my way to Orlando for Diligent’s Modern Governance Summit and then New Orleans for ASAP’s 27th Annual Administrative Professionals Conference (APC) before making my way to the Caribbean to present for the Barbados Stock Exchange at its Seventh Annual Corporate Governance & Accountability Conference.
I’ll be speaking at other events once Fall rolls around. In November, readers can see me presenting at Executive Secretary LIVE in Atlanta, and at APC Canada West in Vancouver.
A conference for Canadian governance professionals
It’s a pleasure to be part of all these events, and your professional development.
There’s another impressive conference on the radar. It’s coming up soon, and it’s specifically for governance professionals – those who work with a board of directors. Governance Professionals of Canada (GPC) will host its 21st Annual Conference in Corporate Governance in Québec City, from August 18 – 21/19.
GPC offering Shelagh’s readers a discounted rate
For my readers who are not already members of GPC, conference organisers are offering a $300 registration discount.
If you’re interested in strong governance education in an incredible setting, click here (the URL is https://gpcanada.org/ACGC_registration_and_fee ) and enter code SPK2019REF when prompted. GPC is extending this offer solely for registrants who are non-members of this professional association. Let me know, please, if you’ll be attending – and see you at the Fairmont Le Château Frontenac!
