It’s been a little while, and so I’m extra pleased to let you know of three upcoming Real Careers interviews.
High performing assistants from Finland and the USA
I’m delighted to be bringing you career insights from three executive assistants hailing from different sectors and different parts of the world.
This week, on November 12th, watch for my interview with Finland’s Nina Aunula.
Nina is the Executive Assistant, Legal, Corporate Affairs and Compliance at her company. As well, she’s the Executive Chairman of IMA, International Management Assistants. We’ll meet in person at some point and, in the interim, Nina and I have been in touch digitally for some time now. You’ve likely already read Nina’s perspectives in articles I’ve published this year on the pandemic’s impacts on assistants; in this interview, we’re looking at Nina’s career.
Later this month, on November 25th, I’ll be bringing you insights from the USA’s Layfayette Wilder.
I presented in Layfayette’s city last year, yet it was an introduction from Real Careers alum John Shaw that brought us together – and it was also John’s introduction that brought Layfayette to many of your screens as an effective panellist speaking at Lucy Brazier’s Exec Sec LIVE Global earlier this year. Layfayette is Executive Assistant and Production Coordinator at her workplace.
My last Real Careers interview of 2020 is with another American, Kimberleigh Deignan.
Kimberleigh is a Senior Executive Administrator and we met when she and her colleague Stacy attended one of my presentations at the EA Summit during the APC/Administrative Professionals Conference and EA Summit in New Orleans in September 2019. It was clear that Kimberleigh, Stacy and I shared a good sense of fun, and it was also clear that their organisation is fortunate (and astute) in employing such high performing professionals.
