Please join me by donation on March 16th or on demand for my public speaking webinar in aid of Ukraine

We’ve all been watching events unfold in Ukraine and other parts of Europe.

… and I know people want to help. Walking to the beach before beginning my work day today, I thought about what I might do beyond making a personal donation and referencing Ukraine and its people in the quotes I publish here on weekdays.

I came up with the idea of recording a webinar – one that can be relevant and helpful to assistants and your non-assistant friends. I thought about the eloquence with which many people are speaking. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is one example. Russian citizens who’ve put themselves on the line by protesting what’s happening in Ukraine are also speaking volumes. Reflecting on how all of us can use our voices for good, I also thought about the fact that many people are less than comfortable with public speaking … and that cinched the topic!

Register by donation, knowing I’ll donate all proceeds to the Red Cross

You decide your registration fee, in US dollars. No amount is too small. I’ll donate all proceeds, however small or large the amount may be, to the Canadian Red Cross in aid of Ukraine. I’ll also report here on how much we’ve been able to raise for Ukraine.

Enhance your public speaking skills and see how much we can collectively raise for the people of Ukraine

I know many of you have already made contributions to people who need help. If you’d like to be part of this initiative, and also help the people of Ukraine, please click here to register. There’s no minimum registration fee; please decide what makes sense for you.

Come together live March 16th, or watch on demand from March 17 – 26

As this is a unique offering, please be aware I won’t be offering workbooks or certificates with this particular webinar. Instead, you’ll have the benefit of polishing your presentation and public speaking skills while also helping others.

We’ll begin live at 10:00 a.m. PDT, which is GMT-7 hours, since we on the west coast will have switched over to Daylight Savings Time earlier that week. If you’re able to attend live, that’s wonderful. Whether or not that works for you, you’ll have on demand access to the recording of our session from March 17th through to the end of the day on March 26, 2022.
