Hope

… and the sights of Nishihama Beach on the remote Japanese island of Hateruma are themselves dreamlike! Hateruma is the southernmost occupied area of Japan, and it’s stunning. After renting a bike, I criss-crossed parts of the island, cycling alongside sugarcane fields as I made my way first (and by chance) to a remote cove, and then to Nishihama Beach.
