Have you been living it up Emerson style lately, enjoying (albeit with sunscreen!) the sunshine and fresh air? Do you live near the water, or have you been to the lake, seaside or ocean in recent weeks? Earlier this month, family members spent the day together on Vancouver Island for a celebration of life. We gathered to honour and remember a much loved aunt, who lived almost 97 years.

We shared a love of nature, and I think she would have enjoyed the sights we enjoyed during the ferry rides as we travelled to and from Victoria, BC and made our way amid heavily forested areas to the site of our family gathering. I hope you also enjoy the sights above and in the videos below.
