Add your voice to my 2026 survey on GenAI in your career

THIS ARTICLE invites you to take a couple of minutes to add your voice to my 2026 survey on AI and your career. You’ll see I’ve tweaked some of the questions from past years, to reflect maturation of the resources and how we use them. While recognising some work environments restrict or limit use of GenAI, I’m asking some new questions about the scope of how you’re using use it. I’m also asking you to assess whether your use of GenAI has impacted the quantity and quality of your deliverables. and if it’s impacted how leaders in your workplace perceive you.

It’s that time again! I’ve been writing about GenAI and your career since December 2022, shortly after ChatGPT’s public launch. At that point, I encouraged playing with the product as a way to learn about its potential and its limitations.

In addition to articles encouraging attention to risk and reputation management, you also have access to my pieces on prompt packs, DeepSeek, courtroom misuse of faux legal cases, Shadow AI, agentic AI, AI guardrails, governance/policies, guidelines and more.

This summer’s articles also include a look at cognitive offloading that can come with AI usage, as well as a recent national survey that found 39% of people reported hiding their AI use from employers.
