Exceptional EA

A thought for your day, with my good wishes and my thanks for your patience as I’m in the midst of redesigning and updating my website …

It is very strange that the years teach us patience

— that the shorter our time, the greater our capacity for waiting.

Elizabeth Taylor

These photos are from the second last day of my most recent stay in England. I woke up with no set plans for the day, and decided it was about time I saw the White Cliffs of Dover. They were as spectacular as one could hope, and I struck it lucky with the weather. It was raining as our train pulled in to Dover, but the sun soon emerged and made for a wonderful day. I walked the windy cliffs over to the lighthouse, enjoyed the gorgeous wildflowers, and joined volunteers on a tour of the military tunnels that lie within the cliffs and directly across the waters from France.

I have many more pics from this wonderful all-day outing and, while you’ll see I did venture relatively close to the edge of the cliff, I did so with great care … particularly given the strength of the winds.

I’ll be back in England this October – and still have a bit of wiggle room in my schedule for additional speaking engagements – and look forward to continuing to explore this beautiful part of our planet.
