Meet Mary Johnson, FEPAA
Communications are key in the workplace, and all the more amidst this global COVID-19 pandemic.
Mary Johnson knows this. Living in Aylburton, Gloucestershire, Mary works at AECOM, known as “ the world’s premier infrastructure firm, delivering professional services throughout the project lifecycle”.
Mary is an EA. Her job title – EA to Head of Rail EMEA; Business Lead Aviation UK & I; Director, Technical Excellence, EMEA – may give you some sense of the scope of her role.
Mary and a colleague took the initiative to develop a Quick Start Guide for colleagues preparing to use Microsoft Teams. Teams is a collaborative platform, an app you can use on your desktop as well as other hardware. The app is included in the Office 365 package.
Stepping up to the plate in challenging times
What Mary did next is equally impressive. In a social media group to which we both belong, she offered to share the guide she and her colleague created. I got in touch, and Mary readily agreed that I could share their guide with you.
Mary also identified, in our social media group, other publicly available guides that assistants and their colleagues may find helpful.
