THE COURSE

As EA and board support roles continue to evolve, understanding the strategic priorities routinely addressed at leadership team and board meetings can help you contribute with greater insight, confidence and value. Risk management is one of those critical leadership priorities.

In this course, you’ll receive a practical introduction to the language, principles and processes of effective risk management. You’ll gain insights on how boards and management teams identify and assess risks alongside opportunities, and risk mitigation strategies. Understanding risk-related meeting discussions can also help you when it comes to recording minutes of those meetings.

Through examples of traditional and emerging risks, you’ll build understanding of key concepts and terminology. You’ll complete this course with a clear, elevated understanding of risk management’s role in organizational success, and your role in this strategic priority.
