A thought for your day, featuring photography from my travels. This shot: How sweet was this for a Sunday morning in January? This was my view overlooking Vancouver’s Burrard Inlet and some of our North Shore mountains a couple of days ago. At the right of the frame, you see some of our West End beaches and then some of the trees of Stanley Park.

We stayed in the Sannegården area, right on the waterfront. Here, a look across the shore at dusk.

Why are there so many? Well, at one point in time seven different railroads led to Cleveland’s terminals and each railroad had its own route.
